Language Therapy Through the Ages

Early Intervention
Early intervention speech and language services are essential for young children who struggle with communication and language development. In my practice, I focus on helping children develop critical language skills, such as vocabulary, categorization, basic concepts, prepositions, following directions, utterance expansion and social communication skills. This is done through child-centered therapy sessions that incorporate play and exploration. By using the environment as a tool for therapy, children are able to engage and learn in a way that is natural, fun and functional. I am dedicated to providing high-quality services that are tailored to the unique needs of each child and family.
Elementary School
Elementary school students can struggle with a wide range of language difficulties, including understanding and following directions, expressing themselves clearly and effectively, and social communication. I use observations, screenings, caregiver communication, teacher reports and neuropsychology reports to develop individualized treatment plans that meet each child's unique needs. My ultimate goal is to help your child improve their language skills, enabling them to succeed both academically and socially.
